Treasure Hunt is a six level American English course designed for primary, suitable for schools with 3 to 5 teaching periods a week. Following the National English Programme, it introduces children to English communication through social practices of the language set in different environments (Family and Community; Recreational and Literacy; Academic and Educational).
Treasure Hunt has extra grammar practice, phonemic awareness and extensive vocabulary practice. The series also includes different magazine pages with fun activities.
Treasure Hunt aims towards communicative interaction using the language as a cognitive and reflexive tool. By the end of the series, your students will be able to express and exchange ideas, talk about themselves and their emotions, give information about others, build knowledge, organize their thoughts, and reflect using the new language.
You will also find opportunities to develop research abilities and cooperative working skills with your students enhancing critical thinking and mindfulness skills and, importantly, they will learn to learn, learn to know, and learn to do.
